TheCounter version 2.3 and experimental Mono support

05.07.2007:TheCounter version 2.3 released today. Changes:

moved to .NET(R) 2.0
ability to center a ROI and fit it to the viewport
preliminary support for Mono 1.2.3

TheCounter manual edition version 2.2 and feedback page

03.24.2005:TheCounter manual edition 2.2 is ready for download. Changes include:

bugfix: program did not run under W*nd*ws 9x
bugfix: program crashed when browsing through images
bugfix: after implementing new graphics system items could not be removed by right click in counting mode
new feature: a custom sized ruler is now displayed on both the in-program view and saved pictures

Credit : I would like to thank Dr. Marko Weber for testing the program and giving constant feedback as well as for supplying new ideas and suggestions.

This page has now a new feedback page where you can send me your opinion about the program via e-mail. Your comments will then be added to the feedback page from time to time.
Be warned though that all mails containing objectionable language or not related to the program will be rejected.

TheCounter manual edition version 2.1 is out now

03.06.2005:Finally it is done... Not much to say about that, for new features refer to the help file or the previous news article.

New release to come out this week

03.03.2005 :The release of TheCounter version 2.1 is imminent. The major changes are:

support for predefined rectangle and ellipse shapes for color measurement
completely reworked graphics implementation for better performance
new improved memory management
summary of all items for both free form and predefined shapes
loads of other bugfixes and improvements

The program will be released Saturday or Sunday so stay tuned.

New homepage up and running

03.03.2005 :The new homepage has been uploaded. The new design complies 100% with the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium for HTML version 4.01.
